Vinyl and Laminate Floor Cleaning

We follow the IICRC standards of cleaning which means every job starts with the testing of floor material and thorough vacuuming and/or sweeping, taking great care to protect your property.

Using minimal moisture is best for vinyl or laminate flooring, although luxury vinyl is a much stronger and durable product. Laminate will almost always only be cleaned manually, with microfibre mops and neutral pH chemicals, followed by rinse mopping with clean water, again, using minimal moisture and drying manually. LVP or LVT with a deep grain that is heavily soiled needs a bit more moisture and careful attention. It can be scrubbed with a non-abrasive vinyl appropriate pad or brush on our swing machine, followed by wet vacuuming any liquids and mopping with clean water. We do not suggest this process for daily maintenance or diy cleaning as damage can occur easily without the proper tools or expertise.

Should we notice anything that needs extra care or attention, we'd contact the client before proceeding. We take great care of the details, which takes a bit longer, but the results speak for themselves.

Our portable machines also allow us to service sky risers, condo buildings and office spaces that may not be serviceable by truck mount, as long as there is power and water available.

Estimates are based on square footage, amount of stairs/closets, level of soiling and stains, location and access. Each of these factors can change an estimate which is why we only do custom estimates for each project and may even visit the property to do the estimate.
